Its like the caresses like a puzzle, it looks rather dull until one goes looking for the little clue's as to what the painter is trying to tell us.
In a way symbolism is all about what do you find and what do you think important not only as far as the composition is ment but what does it say to me as a person.

"That's what makes symbolism stand-out, the appeal to the viewer to surch and find and to keep, whatever he finds.
They do not teach but sugest and you as viewer can go about this sugestions as you like, verry differant from the liked bake and shake paintings or streams." Smiley

The secret is that most of them don't tick at all.
Mostly one should more or less go along with them but never forget to focus on the goals one has in mind, and one should be ,in a way, egoistic be alway's clear about what you want or what you do not want.
Man tend to think that what's O.K to them is authomaticly also O.K for you make it clear wher, and when, that isn't the case."

That first thing is verry important, dragging a guy allong in all kind of shop's or conversations he cares not for is a good thing.
And we should not make the to wise...that could be disadvantagiouse in the long run.

As to making him understand that you care ample for such things one should first make it clear that you're house isn't a bar..refuse to hand out alcoholic's when they come along ,tell them ,if they want to booze the bar is the place to go.
Never mind a wine or a beer during dinner or so and one during a long t.v night but there is a differance between people comming to fill there tax and those who realy come for you to have a pleasant evening.
Again, be clear about what you want, or do not want.
